Alison T. Burrison
Alison Burrison received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from McMaster University, and a Bachelor of Laws, as well as a Master of Laws in Health Law from Dalhousie University in Halifax. After law school, Alison moved to Vancouver with her husband, where she completed her articles and was called to the bar in 2003.
Alison immediately began practicing personal injury and medical negligence law and found her passion for law was helping people. After living and working on the west coast for a few years, Alison returned to Ontario, where she was born and raised, to continue her career in law. Since returning to Ontario, Alison has practiced exclusively for injured victims and their families.
Alison has appeared in all levels of court in Ontario, as well as administrative tribunals on behalf of her clients. She has also represented clients at multiple mediations involving complex matters of liability and damages.
As a mother of two young boys, she loves working for children and their families. She finds her job most rewarding when she can help provide financial security for an injured child, so they can still attain their future goals with all the assistance they need.
When Alison is not working, she loves travelling with her family, even if it is just for the weekend!
