Alan Farrer is the Managing Lawyer of the Personal Injury Alliance. He has also served as the Managing Partner for Thomson, Rogers since 1998.
Alan graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Law in 1979 and was called to the bar in 1981. He is Certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Civil Litigation and has over 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer in Ontario. Alan uses his developed skills and experience to resolve matters quickly and economically for clients. Alan’s practice focuses primarily on complex litigation and class actions.
Alan is a member of The Advocates’ Society, The Canadian Bar Association, The American Association for Justice, and is a Past Executive Director of The Arbitration and Mediation Institute of Ontario. He is also a contributing editor of the legal text ‘Thomson, Rogers on Municipal Liability’ and regularly speaks at legal conferences.
Alan and his wife Jennifer have three boys and live in Oakville, Ontario.
