Salvatore Shaw graduated from The University of Western Ontario and obtained his law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 1998. Salvatore practiced insurance defence litigation before joining McLeish Orlando LLP in 2003, becoming partner in 2011.
Since joining McLeish Orlando, Salvatore’s practice has focused on motor vehicle, products liability and wrongful death cases, acting exclusively on behalf of injured people and their family members.
Salvatore has appeared as counsel before various levels of Ontario courts and at hearings before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, Canadian Pension Plan Appeals Tribunal and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. He has also authored numerous articles on personal injury litigation and is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs, having presented for the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association, the Canadian Institute and the Advocates Society.
For Salvatore, there is nothing more rewarding than helping those who need it most. When not at work, Salvatore enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
