Liane Brown
Liane has dedicated her practice exclusively to working for injured clients and their families. She has handled a wide variety of personal injury cases and has the experience and perseverance required to achieve a successful outcome.
In addition to cases involving the operation of vehicles, Liane acts for plaintiffs injured as a result of slip and falls, product liability and medical malpractice. She also represents individuals who have been cut off by their long-term disability insurer. Liane regularly represents clients before the License Appeal Tribunal regarding Statutory Accident Benefits disputes.
Liane is a Board Member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. She is also a Board member of the Compassionate Justice Fund, which provides much-needed funding to those who do not have access to rehabilitation or support services.
While attending University of Windsor for her legal education, she received the Torkin Manes Cohen and Arbus award for combined academic achievement and service to the community, and the Charles J. Clark scholarship for academic excellence and involvement in community and volunteer activities.
Practicing law since 2013, Liane is known for her firm and persistent approach to law and her ability to empathize with her clients. Liane has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2023.
Outside of the office, Liane is dedicated to her family. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and son as much as she can. They enjoy travelling, camping and cycling together.
