Rayanna’s commitment to personal injury law is rooted in her belief that the legal process should never add to the burden of a serious injury. She has seen firsthand the profound impact that catastrophic injuries can have on individuals and their families and is dedicated to providing practical guidance, responsive communication, and compassionate representation throughout every stage of a claim. Effective communication, empathy, and commitment remain the cornerstones of her practice. 

Rayanna first joined Oatley Vigmond as a summer student before returning to complete her articles with the firm. Following her call to the Ontario Bar in 2021, she joined the firm as an associate and has continued to build her practice representing injured people across Ontario. Having developed her career within one of Canada’s leading personal injury law firms, she works closely with experienced trial lawyers while advocating for clients facing complex insurance and personal injury issues. 

Before joining Oatley Vigmond, Rayanna gained valuable advocacy experience through Community Legal Services and Immigration Services at Western Law. During law school, she also served as Editor, Managing Editor, and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Western Journal of Legal Studies, strengthening her legal research, writing, and analytical skills. 

Beyond her legal practice, Rayanna is committed to advancing the personal injury bar through legal writing and education. She is a regular contributor to the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association’s Weekly Case Summaries and continues to contribute to the firm’s thought leadership through articles on developments in personal injury law, accident benefits, long-term disability claims, and civil litigation. Most recently, she was an invited speaker at the March of Dimes 23rd Annual Brain Injury Survivor Conference, where she shared insights on issues affecting brain injury survivors and their families.

Outside her legal practice, Rayanna is actively involved in her community. She serves on the Board of Directors of MADD Simcoe County as Past President and volunteers with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB). Her commitment to advocacy extends beyond the courtroom, reflecting her passion for supporting individuals and families facing significant challenges.
