Gus D’Amico is an Ontario personal injury lawyer at Oatley Vigmond who represents injured people and their families in serious personal injury and insurance claims across Ontario. His practice focuses on helping individuals whose lives have been affected by motor vehicle accidents, catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other serious injuries. Gus is committed to providing clients with clear guidance, compassionate support, and determined advocacy as they navigate the legal and insurance systems following a life-changing injury. 

Gus joined Oatley Vigmond as a summer student in 2021 and returned to complete his articles with the firm in 2022. After being called to the Ontario Bar in 2023, he joined the firm as an associate lawyer, continuing his commitment to representing injured people and their families. 

His interest in personal injury law developed while studying at Osgoode Hall Law School, where he participated in the school’s personal injury intensive program. Through the program, Gus completed a placement with Oatley Vigmond, gaining firsthand experience working on behalf of injured individuals and developing his understanding of personal injury litigation. 

Gus approaches his practice with a strong commitment to client service. He understands that people pursuing personal injury claims are often dealing with significant physical, emotional, and financial challenges at the same time. He strives to make the legal process easier to understand while ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout their case. 

Before attending law school, Gus completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. His education and experience have provided him with a strong foundation for advocating on behalf of injured Ontarians and helping clients pursue the compensation and support they need following a serious accident. 

Outside of his legal practice, Gus enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and following his favourite sports teams.
