Chris Lazaris

Associate

Chris Lazaris received his Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2018. Before
law school, he received a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in 2014 with a double major in
history and political science. While studying, Chris worked as a caseworker at Western’s
Community Legal Services clinic, where he represented plaintiffs in Small Claims Court and at
the Landlord and Tenant Board. He was also heavily involved in student journalism with a focus
on interviewing university professors about emergent foreign policy issues.

Chris was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019. He is a passionate, strategic, and empathetic
litigator who has exclusively practiced personal injury law since his call to the bar. His practice
includes motor vehicle cases, slip and falls, long-term disability denials, and accident benefits
disputes. Chris takes an organized and aggressive approach to ensure the absolute best results
for clients, and regularly appears before the Superior Court of Justice and License Appeal
Tribunal.

Before joining Thomson Rogers, Chris mainly worked at personal injury law firms where he
honed his skills as a litigator. He articled at a firm specializing in litigation as well as real estate
and corporate transactions. While in law school, he summered at a national corporate law firm.
In private, Chris enjoys exercising, reading about history and philosophy, and spending time
with his family and pet dog.
