Alice H. Xiao
Alice Xiao is a personal injury lawyer at Thomson Rogers. Prior to joining Thomson Rogers as an associate, Alice worked at the firm as an articling student. She is a compassionate and dedicated advocate, committed to going the extra mile to help her clients achieve their goals. Alice is fluent in Mandarin and passionate about assisting clients with language and cultural barriers in accessing and navigating the legal system.
Alice received her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2021. During law school, Alice was involved in various equity-seeking initiatives. She participated in the Feminist Advocacy Program and worked as a student lawyer at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, advocating for women who were victims of violence. She also volunteered with the Family Law Project with Pro Bono Students Canada, assisting low-income, self-represented litigants. Alice’s interest in advocacy led her to participate in several mooting competitions, including the Walsh Family Law Moot, where she and her teammates won the Best Factum award. Prior to law school, Alice graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE).
Outside of work, Alice is an avid sports fan, movie buff and competitive chess player.
