Fact #12: PIA Law Alliance lawyers teach personal injury advocacy at the Queen’s University Faculty of Law – the only course of its kind in Canada – and have lectured at law schools and continuing legal education programs across the country.

Personal Injury Alliance lawyers teach and lecture at some of Canada’s top law schools, including Osgoode Hall, The University of Western Ontario, Queens University, and the University of Toronto.

Jim Vigmond of Oatley Vigmond pioneered Canada’s first Personal Injury Advocacy course at Queen’s University Faculty of Law, where he served as adjunct professor beginning in 2008. Brian Cameron of Oatley Vigmond currently teaches the course as instructor at Queen’s Law.

Guest lecturers at Queen’s University Faculty of Law have included Roger Oatley, Brian Cameron, Adam Little, Troy Lehman, Rob Durante, Ryan Murray, and Michelle Han — Oatley Vigmond lawyers who have contributed to the course continuously since its inception.

Jim Vigmond has been teaching Personal Injury Law since 2008, and Insurance Law in 2013 and 2014 at Queen’s University.
