Adam J. Tanel
Adam obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law in 2011 and was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2012. Adam joined Thomson, Rogers as an Articling Student in 2011 and returned to the firm as an Associate in 2012.
Adam’s practice is dedicated to advocating for people who have suffered serious personal injuries. Adam has experience working with victims of motor vehicle accidents, medical mal-practice police assault and historic sexual abuse. Adam takes pride in working directly with victims and their families to achieve the best results possible.
Adam is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Advocates’ Society, Canadian Bar Association and Toronto Lawyers Association.
During law school Adam worked at Downtown Legal Services, providing representation to low-income Torontonians. This work provided Adam with the opportunity to conduct full trials before graduating from law school. Adam was a member of several of the Faculty of Law’s advocacy teams and was selected to represent the school at national and international competitions in each year of law school. He won numerous awards for outstanding advocacy.
When not at the office, Adam enjoys playing hockey, baseball and skiing. He is an enthusiastic outdoorsman and enjoys exploring all parts of Ontario.
